Red Jacket Beach Resort & Spa

All Red Jacket Resorts are fantastic. I wanted to say how this one is my favorite but they are ALL tied for 1st place. The staff are excellent. There's always something interesting & exciting to do. If you're looking to relax.. they got that too.

We thought our room was super nice. Very nice groupings of fun pictures over the two queen beds. (See pics) The laminate floor looked new and was easy on our feet. In the bathroom, it looked like the sink was new and there were new fixtures in the shower. The only thing missing was safety grab bars in the shower as the tub surface was kinda slick. We liked the vertical tiles. The hallways were well lit and the paint and wallpaper looked new and fresh. Service in the resturant for our group dinner and for the morning buffets was quick and pleasant, as was the bartender for our wine with dinner, was very nice and efficient. Overall a Four Star plus experience. Wish we could have spent more time there walking the beautiful beach

Stayed at the red jacket townhouse. Lovely and looks newly done. Had a room with 4 bunk beds for the kids. Nice kitchen with 2 baths laundry and good sized dining table and sofa. Indoor pool was nice early in may. They have a nice resort beach and the staff is lovely. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend staying here

ROOMS: 4/5. Even without considering the price, the accommodations have several minor problems that fall short of a 5 star rating. Certain amenities are dilapidated, stained, or dented. The shower water is always HOT, hard to get anything cold out of it. And the upstairs meeting room is always COLD, below 60 degrees. While the dormitory may be underwhelming, other facilities for sporting and swimming provide much to do during the day. Overall, the resort is a great location for family-friendly fun. BEACH: 5/5. A pristine, calm beach at an isolated, private location is the reason you should visit. There is never any trash or debris and the ocean stays shallow for dozens of meters, allowing for intensive wading. There are relatively few patrons on the shore at any time. It is a beautiful location with a great atmosphere and no pollution. SERVICE: 5/5. A host of staff will ensure the quality of your experience with thorough cleaning and friendly service. If you're prepared to meet the upscale price tag, Red Jacket will take care of you just fine.

Just returned from a mini anniversary vacation at the Red Jacket. Rooms have been updated, very nice. We have frequented the property over the years. Always exceeded our expectations. Oceanfront room, upon arrival Grace the receptionist was most helpful welcoming us. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Patrick the groundskeeper whom I have gotten to know over the years. Consummate professional. Just a genuine nice guy. I always enjoy my conversations with him. Red Jacket is fortunate to have him in their employ. Look forward to future visits.

I photographed a wedding at the Red Jacket Beach Resort & Spa in South Yarmouth, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The ceremony took place right outside the hotel with the ocean as the backdrop—truly a breathtaking setting that made every moment feel timeless and effortless to capture. Cocktail hour was held under a beautiful outdoor tent, creating the perfect blend of fresh ocean air and relaxed celebration before guests moved inside for the reception. The indoor space was warm, inviting, and ideal for dinner and dancing. Everything flowed seamlessly, and the staff took great care in making sure the day felt smooth and special for everyone involved. If you’re looking for a Cape Cod venue with stunning coastal views and excellent hospitality, Red Jacket Beach Resort is absolutely worth considering. Very impressed with this resort ! Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel . Food was good but I was disappointed when they automatically figure in a 20% tip on food for just 2 of us , even a take out order. Staff were all friendly & helpful . Price for 2 night stay was reasonable esp for ocean view room !

love love love the Red Jacket! the beach is great, the amenities create a flawless visit and the beach bar serves spectacular drinks, making it the icing on the cake!! while i do not love to pick favorites, ryan the bartender’s service went above and beyond, as he provided excellent service and made my partner a custom cocktail that she absolutely loved. plus, he’s quite the conversationalist and not only had great recommendations for things around the cape, but also had us in tears laughing :) couldn’t recommend a better place to spend some time at on the cape! and no, this was not written under the influence of a couple cocktails ;)
